Amit Perelson (Co-Facilitator)
Amit Perelson was born and raised in Petah Tikvah and has lived in Haifa since 1997 in one of the city's only mixed Arab-Jewish neighborhoods. Currently working as the Assistant Director of the House on Wheels, a non-profit organization that provides supplementary programs for physically disabled youth, and studying for a BEd in the Critical Pedagogy program in the Kibbutzim College of Education in Tel Aviv, Amit has been involved in numerous activities and organizations related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for well over a decade. Some of the groups Amit has worked for as an inter-group facilitator are Re'ut Sadaka, the Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace, and the NIR School, to name a few. A graduate of Eastern Mennonite University's Summer Peacebuilding Institute, Amit is a founding member of the Hadar Community Garden Project, and has been active in Baladna and Green Action. Prior to becoming a faithful father to a baby girl, Amit also made sure to make time for computer games and athletic activities.
