Transforming the Present, Shaping the Future
Monday, 15 March 2010
“There were many moments at my Abraham's Vision retreat that I found moving - experiencing the beauty of Muslim prayer, witnessing a Muslim facilitator honor the feelings of a Jewish participant's fear of trusting 'the other', and seeing the authentic respect each facilitator had for the other's religion and diversity of experience. The retreat deepened my holy kinship to the other children of Abraham and helped me envision the steps our civilization needs to take to live together in peace.”- Program Participant
SUMMARY
Abraham’s Vision conducts short-term workshops for individuals in high school, university campuses, and post-university settings on a variety of topics. The objectives of our workshops include (1) providing general information on various issues related to the topics found below; (2) stimulating questions for further exploration; and (3) presenting resources for participants to learn more about these subjects. The primary difference between our Workshops and our Presentations is that the former are much more interactive, usually involving various forms of experiential education. We envision our workshops as starting points, rather than the comprehensive processes that we offer with our long-term programs.
